Laser Enclosure with Rotary

EASY INSTALLATION AND SETUP

5C CHUCK INCLUDED

COMPUTER CONTROLLED

ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTICS

MARKING RECIPE STORAGE

Our rotary accessory features an industrial computer-controlled system with purpose-built software to incorporate laser control, rotary axis positioning, recipe generation and execution, and system diagnostics into a simple to use format.

The 5C rotary chuck can grip parts up to 1-1/16" in diameter. If an alternate size chuck is required, your custom-size chuck can be attached using the included mounting plate.

Powered by an integrated stepper with encoder feedback for precise positioning of the part for laser marking, part marking is repeatable and accurate. The integrated stepper includes controls, drive, and motor all in one package to reduce wiring down to a single cable between the rotary accessory and the computer system.

The included computer controller and software allows for easy operation of the rotary accessory. From the controller, the operator can monitor laser marker status, rotary axis status, recipe selection, and cycle operation.

Additionally, the active laser marker program is displayed to ensure the correct program is loaded along with confirmation of marking information. Based on the model of laser marker used, it is even possible to display an image from the laser marker with an overlay of the marking data.

The rotary axis can be manually controlled via on-screen controls to determine the perfect position for marking. The position can then be entered into the recipe information for future use. The computer can retain thousands of recipes and can be recalled in just a few clicks.

Laser Marking Systems

Laser marking offers a broad range of processing abilities and takes place completely without contacting the part. These high-precision laser marking systems use a beam of light energy to create a mark on a part that can be of an image, text, logos, barcodes, UID codes, or QR codes. Various materials may be laser marked or labeled such as plastics, acrylics, foam, wood, leather, glass, rubber, cloth or metals. This fast, clean technology offers many advantages unlike traditional part marking systems. It eliminates the need to purchase and replace ink cartridges or ribbons as well as the use of tool bits which come in contact of your surfaces and wear out.

Fast

The time it takes to mark a part using a laser is incredible! Marking can take place in less than a second even while the marked part is in motion. Most applications have a stationary part or set of parts to be marked placed in front of the laser head, it is possible to mark moving parts on the fly.

Easy

No ink reservoirs to fill, no labels or ribbons to replace, and no machine cleanup due to overspray or spills. Just turn on the power and you are ready to start marking parts.

Need to make a change to your marking parameters? No problem, the PC-based software makes program setup and changes straight-forward and simple to do. Just make your changes, save the file to the laser head and you are ready to go.

Versatile

Marking can be done on a wide range and variety of materials. The most common materials marked are plastics and metals, laser marking can also be done on wood and glass

Artwork

Part marking does not consist of just text and barcodes. You can also use laser marking as a way to add flair to your product. Images and designs can be incorporated into your marking file. Not only that, but based on your material and laser settings, you can alter the color of the marks, too!

Data Codes

One of the most valuable features of laser making is the ability to add permanent data codes to your products. This provides reliable traceability throughout the manufacturing process and any data acquisition that you wish to accomplish. Since the mark is permanent, there is no risk of a label falling off or smeared ink. Once a part has been marked, it's forever.

Common data codes consist of 1D barcodes as well as 2D barcodes such as Data Matrix and QR codes.
