Berran offers several optional machine variants within their Eagle line of packaging equipment that use of stainless steel in their construction. Stainless steel is easily cleaned and sterilized to prevent bacterial contamination of food products, and is very durable. It is commonly used for industrial equipment when durability and cleanability are important.
The Eagle T210SS, for instance, is a carton sealer with a stainless steel frame which is suitable for use in food processing and packaging facilities. The Eagle T210SS is ideal for use with wide cartons and features top and bottom drive belts and tape heads for smooth carton sealing operation. If you have a packing line with random or non-conforming carton sizes, Berran has the machinery for you. Sealing cartons of varying heights and widths on a conveyor system can pose a challenge, but Eagle packaging equipment has you covered.
Berran offers several options on a random size carton sealer for sealing cartons of varying sizes on the same line. Eagle machines such as the T400R, T550RL, and T600RA are capable of self-adjusting to the currently loaded carton size. Thereby reducing downtime due to machine adjustment and reconfiguration.
Eagle extended base stretch wrappers are designed to handle oversized loads wrapping such as furniture, cabinets, large foam pieces, display signs, etc... Even though the extended base stretch wrappers are designed for larger than usual loads, they can handle normal loads, too. The extended base models feature all the same functionality as our standard base models.
The Eagle extended base stretch wrappers can handle skids/loads of up to 170" in diagonal measurement with its 78.5" diameter turntable. Additionally, they feature a powered pre-stretch film carriage which applies up to 250% of pre-stretch to the film prior to application.
Nearly all Eagle stretch wrappers are capable of having an optional integrated weight scale system installed. The stretch wrapper scale system makes it possible to obtain load weight at the same time that load wrapping takes places. Thereby reducing processing time and increasing productivity.
At the heart of the system are the load cells. Located at multiple locations under the turntable and mast base, the load cells continuously collect weight data samples. The weight data is then averaged out with help from the load cell junction panel. The weight data is then transmitted to the display panel where it can be easily read by the machine operator.
The panel can be connected to a variety of label printers via the RS232 serial connection. Any printer that supports ZPL script can be used to print the load label data generated by the panel.
By attaching a load label to your wrapped skid(s), carrier weight errors can be eliminated. Any additional costs or fees that may occur due to differences in estimated versus actual load weights can be reduced.
While the weight scale system can be integrated into nearly any Eagle stretch wrapper, there are several stretch wrapper models that come with an integrated scale system built-in from the factory. For more information, take a look at the Eagle 2000BWS product link below

The Eagle 2000 series stretch wrappers feature a powered film carriage unit to maximize film efficiency. Using a photoelectric sensor, the Eagle 2000B automatically recognizes the load height. The carriage travel will also automatically adjust to create an effective wrap cycle.
The turntable offers a soft start/soft stop feature for gentle handling. Upon completion of a job cycle, the turntable resets itself automatically. This allows for proper orientation of the load for pallet jack or forklift insertion. Even more available features offer increased production and a cost per load savings. Nevertheless, you can easily justify owning an Eagle 2000B series stretch wrapper.
The Eagle 2000B series stretch film machines come standard with a powered pre-stretch carriage capable of delivering up to 250% film pre-stretch. Also, easily adjust your film pre-stretch "on the fly", even during a wrap cycle!
The Eagle 2000 series turntables can wrap loads up to 5,000lbs. The turntable base has 24 nylon rollers for smooth and quiet operation.
With PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) controls and a simplified control panel for easy operation, the Eagle 2000B is a breeze to use.
With a 99" tower, the Eagle 2000B can handle loads of up to 87" in height!
The Eagle R2B2 robotic stretch wrapper production is full steam ahead! Currently 10 units are being built right now. These units and more will be available for purchase very soon. To get pricing information or to reserve your unit, call one of our sales representatives at (330) 253-5800 today!
The Eagle R2B2 is a versatile robotic stretch wrapping that is perfectly suited for warehouses with limited space. With options that include wireless monitoring, data acquisition, and customizable HMI screens, the Eagle R2B2 offers the most bang for your buck.
For more information, view the Eagle R2B2 product information page or contact one of our representatives.
The Eagle R2B2 is part of the Eagle line of packaging equipment. These are top quality stretch wrappers. The Eagle R2B2 is an ideal choice for individuals working in warehouses with minimal space because of its small footprint and mobile operation. Place this stretch wrapper next to your pallet. Using the push-button powered assist and you ready to go. The operator will select a pallet wrap mode using the HMI and press the start button. The Eagle R2B2 robotic stretch wrapper will do the rest. While in operation, the Eagle R2B2 has an audible warning prior to and during transit. Additionally, there is a multi-color stack light present at the top of the film carriage mast.
Similar to the Eagle 2000B, the Eagle R2B2 offers a powered film pre-stretch carriage that offers 100% and 250% pre-stretch options. Pre-stretching the film before application both extends the life of a roll of film and adds to the holding power of the film once it is applied to the pallet.
We have several film types and thicknesses available and in stock for use with our Eagle line of stretch wrappers.
The Eagle R2B2 HMI screens can be customized. Further options can include your company logo and colors to match your company. In order to take advantage of this option, please let us know in advance. Screen changes are implemented by our on-site engineers using state of the art software. In other words, nearly any image can be added to your custom screen.
Berran Industrial Group, Inc. takes pride in building its machinery to ensure the highest of standards. We pride ourselves on reliable operation and extreme durability. It's machines that last the test of time and provide its users with years of service and operation.
To illustrate, here we have a over 20 year old, custom machine that was engineered, fabricated and constructed by Berran Industrial Group, Inc. To date, it has run more than 120 million cycles. This machine is still in operation today and producing parts for a major corporation that is a leading global producer of skin health and hygiene solutions for away-from-home settings.
The machine displayed above is just one example of a custom machine that is currently in production and outliving its expectations. Here at Berran, we have the capability to build a large variety of custom machinery. In other words, no matter what your machinery needs may be, we can build it. Here are just a few examples of prior projects we have worked on.
Automatic Load Height Sensor, also known as ALHS has many benefits when installed to your Eagle series stretch wrapper. One is to identify the top of the pallet load that our Eagle series stretch wrappers are equipped with. And two, it will determine when a load has been placed on the your machine. There are several types of load height sensors. For example we have listed two of our common sensors below.
A diffused light sensor is commonly called as proximity mode. When light strikes the target from various angels it becomes diffused. After light returns directly to the receiver the target has been detected. Factors such as color, size and finish determine the target. The actual sensing range for each model is based upon a “white card test”. The white card has a 90% reflectivity factor and is considered a “standard target”. Targets with darker colored or a matte finish provides less reflectivity. In other words, increase the sensitivity or position the sensor closer to the target.
A laser load height sensor enables long distance detection. This is useful for difficult applications where there must be a focused, visible beam spot. TOF (Time of Flight) is the method used to measure distance using a laser.
The TOF method of detection measures distance by calculating the time it takes for a pulse-emitted beam to leave the sensor, hit the target, and then return to the sensor. Therefore this provides stability of the detected work piece.
